As I mentioned many times in my blog, Google Trends is a great market research tool. Unfortunately, there is no official Google Trends API that we can use to automate our queries.
The good news is that, given that G Trend is open, there are many unofficial libraries, like pytrends python library.
I’ve put together this script to get the top queries for “Marketing and Advertising,” in the US in the past 30 days:
Tweak the parameters in the script, and read the pytrends doc to run more advanced queries.
