Content that spreads win. You can pay Google and Facebook as much as you want, but if people are not interested in sharing your content, you are paying the highest possible click, the one that gets you only one visit.

Another strategy is to make it in the top 5 results in Google for a given search. It might work, if you are creating content about a topic that is new, or few people have covered already.

Twitter retweets and Facebook shares are the real fuel for your engine of growth. Write content that your audience is willing to share, and you will get free clicks, visits, and customers.
