One of the good things about Mixpanel is that is user-centric. Yes, you can track anonymous visits, but if you have a way to identify a user in your site (or app), you can track her actions. It requires an extra set up step, where you should track when people sign up, and also when they take actions.

Once you’ve started to track sign-ups and users activity, the Users module will be unlocked, and you can begin analyzing each user actions.

This step is crucial because it unblocks other features in Mixpanel, like Take Action, where you can compose tailored emails targeted to a group of users that met a specific criteria.

For example, you can send a one-time email to people who logged from the Argentina with a specific promotion.
